AM020 13 1.4 The key stages for preparing the Local Plan have included gathering evidence, identifying key issues and options and consultation. The Council has consulted extensively on the development of the Local Plan. Key consultations are listed below: Scoping consultation on the new Vale of Aylesbury Local Plan (VALP) Spring 2014. The Vale of Aylesbury Local Plan (VALP) has since been adopted on the 15. th. September 2021. The plan target within this will now form the basis of the housing requirement. The housing requirement set out in the VALP is 1,430 dwellings per annum, which totals a 5YS requirement for 2021-2026 of 7,150 homes. 1.
